The word itself is ironic, seven letters...no real balance at all.
We all are forced to address balance in our lives, minds, hearts and beyond. Everyone struggles to achieve a level of normalcy by getting all of their ducks in a row and then picking and choosing what they want to include in their balanced existences.

The dangerous aspect of picking off ducks one at time, you can get lost during the process.
Just picture standing in the cereal aisle of the grocery store, all of items on the shelf are cereal, each providing you with something different. A toy, nutritional value, a great taste...but they are all cereals. Which one do you pick?Obviously you want to pick something you will enjoy, at least this time around until is done.
Do you make the right decision?
The notion of balance is similar to the act of picking a cereal, you select what you think will work and hope that the choice you made is the correct one. Getting caught in the numerous details of what you should select and giving it value can lead you down a bumpy road. But it shouldn’t.
Learning to make decisions that impact you and your loved ones first will help you remember, if you strive to be superman or superwomen, empower yourself. Determining what you need to get done in a day, week, month or year is easy. Set attainable goals and do it at your own pace. Feeling content is your job, not that of others.
Find your moment of ironic balance, it may not be that of your neighbours...but your moment of feeling just so will be.
When finally, you take a moment and breathe.
